I love silence,
\nwhen I can delve deep into a material in full concentration.
\nWorking with paper helps me find calm - a quiet conversation.
\nOnly the rustling of the paper, the slap of my paste-covered hands on the surfaces and bases and my breath can be heard.
\nBut in me, in my thoughts and in the work, the silence is very loud - a thunderous symphony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The materiality of paper does not permit the trumpets, trombones, and horns to make a sound.
But our imagination resounds with a clanging, warning, triumphant concert.
\nIt heralds of that which stirs life up and destroys, or it calls us to awake, jubilant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
